'Ayush', meaning long healthy life in Sanskrit, embodies the dream for Ayush Wellness Spa. The vision is to create a spacious, natural environment for health and healing based on the principles of Ayurveda.
The Spa is set on the beautiful Island of Jersey and located in the 4 star Hotel de France, the first Ayurvedic hotel destination spa in the United Kingdom.
Built on the foundation of Ayurvedic healing therapies and restorative spa waters, we offer to share with you the teachings of this timeless tradition in order that you may learn the optimal environment for you to personally develop practices that will restore and maintain the mind and body.
Ayurveda for those who are new to the concept means ‘Science of life.’ Originating in India more than 5000 years ago, Ayurveda is truly a natural holistic form of healing and believes that the rhythm of life is at one with the rhythm of nature. At Ayush Wellness Spa our Ayurvedic physician works along with both Indian and western therapists to customise herbal medicated treatment oils, provide consultations, lectures and treatments in a spirit of compassion and acceptance.
Our combination of authentic Ayurvedic therapies and luxurious spa treatments work in harmony. Within the portfolio of treatments you will recognise some familiar spa therapies that have been slightly adapted to maintain our Ayurvedic philosophy. Whatever your time restraints we have developed treatments and programmes that range from a one day visit to a three week stay allowing everyone at the very least an introduction to the health restorative properties of Ayurveda.
Every detail of the Ayush Wellness Spa facility has been created with nature in mind; beautiful stone and wood combine with open glass walkways to maintain the vast spacious air element. Although open and spacious only six private treatment suites, relaxation lounge, yoga studio and library inhabit the space ensuring your time with us is a quiet reflective experience where only the sounds of flowing water elements can be heard.
Our vision is pure and our concept authentic in an environment that advocates and promotes a healthy lifestyle, enriching and enhancing both physical and emotional wellbeing. Ayush Wellness Spa is located at the 4 star Hotel de France situated on the beautiful island of Jersey in the Channel Islands. Jersey covers an area of only 45 square miles and is hugged by the sea only 14 miles from France and 100 miles from England.
A 450 mile network of roadway provides limitless opportunity to explore the islands unspoilt countryside, sweeping bays and sandy beaches with stunning views of the surrounding Atlantic Ocean from almost every location. Jersey also has a wealth of activities and places of historical interest from sand yachting or abseiling, to Elizabeth Castle or the German Underground Hospital. One can also indulge in a little wine tasting or VAT free shopping in the bustling town of St. Helier. Great Local cuisine and nightlife compliment the daytime activities and has always been one of Jersey's attractions, with over 200 restaurants to choose from, all providing something to suit all tastes.

Condor Ferries also operate fast scheduled crossings to the island with up to 3 sailings a day taking from as little as 3 hours.
Jersey is accessible from over 20 U.K airports and 3 U.K seaports together with good links to Europe by air and excellent connections from St. Malo by ferry.
